Eclectic Experience,
Creative Collaborator
My name is Gloria Adams, and I have spent the last 10 years exploring a variety of opportunities and learning just as many useful skills.
I’ve worked as a middle school teacher, teaching Reading, Writing, and English as a Second Language. I’ve taken on campus leadership positions such as Department Chair, Grade Level Team Leader, and Campus Advisory Council Secretary. I even spent three years developing and teaching my own Reading Intervention curriculum.
I’ve served as a leader in my community, on organizational boards and in volunteer positions. I’ve mentored dozens of young artists and writers. I’ve led creative endeavors, serving as Project Manager for Outside Voices, directing five annual Frontera Fest Productions, and leading Client Management for Piecemeal Press.
I’ve continued my education, seeking a certification in User Experience Design and becoming a Teaching Consultant with the Heart of Texas Writing Project. I am enthusiastic about learning new skills and bringing my expertise into new contexts. I could be exactly what you’re looking for!
